         MISSION

       Trakia University provides quality higher education for professional career in fields of human and veterinary medicine, pedagogy and education, engineering and technology, agriculture, economics, ecology and environment- for professional and personal development of the specialists necessary for economic and spiritual prosperity of the country and the region.

       Mission determines educational policy of Trakia University, focused on the needs of the society at regional and national scale.

       For its implementation the university is guided by strategic directions to which orients all work.

       Achieving successful institutional and program accreditations in the fields of Trakia university.

       Strengthening of existing major academic departments and administrative structures and their transformation into stable operating systems.

       Placing students at the center of the learning process, encouraging creativity and activity in the search for knowledge about the formation and professional self-development.

       Innovations in teaching, scientific research and administrative activities to increase the efficiency of the work of each member of the faculty of TrU.

       Continuing of the efforts to create conditions for increasing the academic, tolerance and freedom in work and in relationships of employees from different academic levels, as well as the staff and users of scientific products.

      Introducing new methods and criterias for the planning, implementation, stimulating and reporting of scientific-research activity.

      Improve financial accounting and administrative status and service.
