Welcome to the page of Trakia University Library!
The main task of the library is to create a suitable information ambience for the scientific and research activities as well as for the academic work of the university teachers and students.
The book-stock of the library amounts to 360000 volumes of monographs, reference books, books and scientific periodicals.
Since 1999 the Central University Library has been determined as a Depository library of FAO-Food and Agriculture Organization of UNO.
The oldest library collection dates from 1936 –this is the library of the Faculty of veterinary medicine.
The University Library keeps active contacts of book exchange with about 100 universities and scientific institutions from 38 countries all over the world. It distributes the publications of the University:
- Trakia Journal of Science
- Bulgarian Journal of Veterinary Medicine
- Materials from scientific sessions, conferences, etc.
